When Daddy and I decided to start a family, we knew it was going to be a financial challenge, especially since I was going to resign from my job and stay home with our baby. However, we were so blessed with all of the gifts we have received from our friends and family. This is what we're doing to ease the financial "burden":
*Breastfeed! It's so cheap and an amazing bonding experience...I'll probably blog about that later so Sally doesn't get upset with me for leading you to believe that breastfeeding is easy.
*Try to be the first one in your family to have kids, because those grandparents will go crazy buying stuff for your little one. Gabe's the first grandson in Fito's family and trust me, I haven't had to buy him a single article of clothing...I have some in his closet for up to 2T already!
*But don't worry if you're not the first one, because there are benefits there as well. Gabe's the 9th grandchild in my family, so it probably wasn't the same feeling for my family, but it was still special since I am the baby. But anyway, I get all of their hand me downs. I'm talking just about everything we own is a hand me down: the crib, changing table, rocking chair, breast pump, blankets, clothes, toys, including this exersaucer Gabe is already enjoying. I wonder what cousin it belonged to?
I guess what I'm trying to say is, as tempting as it is to go out and buy all the cute stuff for your baby, save your money, oh and birth order does matter!

Gabe is really growing up; where did his hair go? Like the video. Nice touch.
I think the exersaucer belonged to Kara! It is an Adame original!
