Update

Well, my little guy is growing up so fast...let me tell you about some of the things he's been doing...

*He's pulling himself up and cruising (walking while holding onto furniture)

*He's drinking water from a sippy cup

*He's eating finger foods (cheerios, little pieces of meat, cut up fruit)

*He's still exclusively breastfeeding, so it's awesome that when he does get a bottle, he holds it himself (and that's because he only gets one like 2 or 3 times a month)

*He had his first playdate (my neighbor has an 11 month old baby boy)

*He babbles like crazy and put syllables together like mama, dada (I'm convinced he actually knows the meaning of mama, but others will beg to differ)

*He repeats signs for all done and milk

*He has quite the temperament and shows it when...the cats get out of reach, I hide a toy or change his diaper

*He is showing stranger anxiety (they had to page us from the church nursery because he was crying)

*He sleeps about 12-13 hours at night and naps about 3 hours during the day

He has his 9 month check-up next week so I'll let y'all know his latest stats. I was just telling Fito today that I worry that my expectations may be too high for him because I want him to be advanced in all of his developmental milestones and sometimes I feel I push him too hard and then I realized...Yeah, I do, but I should have high expectations, so sorry Buddy!
